Had an opportunity to visit Caleb Tennis’ hangar to retrieve a work table he is donating to our Zenith build. The table has some mojo still in it after building a couple of Vans kits. Took the opportunity to hear some build advice from Caleb. Reassembled the table at our hangar and wrapped up our Cell Phone holder project… the students made these from scratch, starting with flat stock. They look pretty good!
Bad weather, no safety pilot or plane available, need to maintain currency, want to try some different approaches into different airports, or just don’t want to fly at $200/hr at this moment?

Had a great benchmarking trip to our sister EAA Chapter 1354 in Greenwood IN. They have a Vans RV12 build going on now. Was good to hear from them, see their processes, tools, benches, shop setup. We have a great chapter project heading our way for BOTH adults and students to engage. The Zenith CH650B airframe was ordered this past Monday should arrive April/May.
