Installing the balance horns and starting to updrill the Zenith 650 ailerons with some of our students today. It may seem like a light turn out this evening, but don’t fool yourself. We have an amazing group of about 14 kids working on this project, when they can. We have some who are very active in school sports this time of the year, others in the marching band. One student just passed his check ride at 17yrs old, when he’s not driving a combine to help his father with the harvest. We have a couple working on their ground school See More
Great progress on our Zenith 650; the rudder, flaps, ailerons, horizontal stabilizer and elevators are almost a wrap!! Here is just a part of our student group that’s been building, along with a couple of adult mentors Keith Embry and Dave Lynch. The adult build members start updrilling and deburring the rear portion of the fuselage.
